From droll to dramatic, the seven entries here, illustrated byvarious artists, introduce familiar characters and incorporate characteristic snappy dialogue, pop references, gruesome adventures, and friendship dynamics.The glossy, colorful art ranges from blocky cartoon styleto realistic.
