Representing the color of human skin has challenged artists for as long as time. An artist's creativity does not always fall into someone else's idea of how flesh appears. So what you find in the store labeled 'flesh' or 'skin tone' may not agree with your artistic sensibilities. Using mass-produced flesh tones can be limiting, but you can make your own. Use basic color theory to mix a never-ending number of color possibilities.
