With the blight dragon dead and Labyrinthos saved, a triumphant Makoto Takatsuki finally returns to Macallan. He soon receives an invitation to visit the capital city of Roses, but there's just one problem: the summons comes from Princess Sophia, the frigid water priestess who once declared him useless. After a cold royal reception and a nasty run-in with some knights, a chance encounter allows the princess's younger brother, Prince Leonardo, to witness Makoto's magical mastery in action.
