In Shepherd's (Pregnancy Shock for the Greek Billionaire) latest, Ana Horvath and her sisters will only inherit their family estate if they marry within a year of their father's passing--and Ana only has six months left to find a husband. After a string of bad dates and set ups, she is almost ready to give up on love. Then her long-time friend Connor suggests she stop looking for love and start looking for a temporary arrangement that will fulfill the will's requirements. Connor can't help the feelings of jealousy that come up whenever Ana talks about getting married, but when she suggests he could be her temporary partner, he balks at the idea. If it will help Ana, though, he'll do anything. Connor's distaste for marriage and his hands-off approach with Ana give this book a rocky start, but readers that stick with it will see their love shine through in the end. VERDICT A good read for fans of the friends-to-lovers trope.--Amanda Toth
