      Valentino tells the story of Snow White from the wicked queen's point of view. The perspective shift works moderately well to relate an engaging tale about power and jealousy. However, it's difficult to feel for the characters, least of all the wicked queen, whose transformation from doting stepmother to jealous crone is too abrupt.
